A little about me.....

A few years ago my husband and I moved from the suburbs to our small farm. It didn't take long before we had 21 chickens. Seriously, chickens are just too much fun - love those girls. After that, my spinning addiction expanded our barn population to 2 angora bunnies, 3 llamas and 3 alpacas. I enjoy dying, carding and spinning from a variety of fibers. But my favorite fiber comes from my own herd. I think the end product - yarn, roving or batt - becomes even more special if you know the name of the animal it came from.

Creating has been an essential part of life for me since childhood. I will admit to having attention deficit difficulties when it comes to arts and crafts.  There are so many wonderful techniques and mediums to try - I'm pretty sure my list of "I wanna try that" is longer than my lifespan, but it's sure going to be fun trying.
